NGOC DOAN - THE DESIGNER BEHIND VIETNAM’S “MILLION-DOLLAR” JEWELRY MASTERPIECES

NGOC DOAN - THE DESIGNER BEHIND VIETNAM’S “MILLION-DOLLAR” JEWELRY MASTERPIECES

Designer Ngoc Doan, founder of Leman Jewelry, is renowned for creating breathtaking "million-dollar" diamond pieces and bringing international craftsmanship to Vietnam through her expertise and education from GIA (Gemological Institute of America). Known for her distinctive design style, sharp creative instincts, and refined aesthetics, Ngoc Doan has made a name for herself in the world of luxury jewelry.

A Journey Rooted in Passion and Precision

Ngoc Doan is not only GIA-certified but also gained over four years of hands-on experience working directly at GIA in the United States. Choosing to return to Vietnam and start from scratch wasn’t just a career move, it was a calling. Leaving behind a stable job overseas, she embraced the challenge of building something deeply personal: Leman Jewelry.

Combining her international expertise with her family’s business heritage, Ngoc Doan established a brand that is now synonymous with exquisite craftsmanship, rare gemstones, and artistic integrity.

Diamonds as a Lifelong Love

To Ngoc Doan, diamonds are more than a canvas for creativity, they are a lifelong passion. Beyond the demanding roles of managing a brand, handling strategy, and running operations, her true joy lies in sourcing rare, high-value diamonds that are as unique as her vision. With every piece, she breathes life, youth, and prosperity into her designs and infusing the stones with emotion and meaning.

Making a Mark with Iconic Collections

For artists, there is always a deep longing to create that one unforgettable masterpiece. Ngoc Doan, as a Vietnamese designer with a Vietnamese brand, has introduced many high-value collections into the local market, making a distinct personal statement. Despite her quiet, private nature and preference to stay out of the spotlight, her creations speak volumes.

Her latest collection, The Voice of Nature, debuted at Salon Deluxe Vietnam in April 2024 - an event that marked a defining moment for Vietnamese fine jewelry. Leman Jewelry was the only Vietnamese brand showcased alongside global icons like Mikimoto and SwissDiam, elevating the voice of Vietnamese luxury on the international stage.

The collection featured a diamond piece valued at over 10 billion VND, and conveyed a powerful message about reconnecting with the Earth, oceans, and natural beauty, a poetic call for harmony through design.

When Jewelry Tells Its Own Story

Each design by Ngoc Doan carries its own narrative, a story filled with romance, soul, and individuality. With her unique ability to make diamonds “speak,” her creations transcend function and fashion. To own a piece from Leman Jewelry is not merely to wear jewelry. It is to collect an enduring legacy. These are rare, one-of-a-kind works of art, each with its own life and voice.

A Glimpse of Tranquility: The “Dream Captured” Exhibition

Currently on view at Leman Jewelry is the Dream Captured collection, featuring the extremely rare blue diamond, symbol of peace, prosperity, and prestige. Blue diamonds represent one of the rarest categories of diamonds, making this collection a truly extraordinary experience for collectors.

Joining this exhibition are two heritage-inspired brands: Girori 1735 porcelain, distributed by La Maison Chouette, and Handpick Furniture, known for handcrafted, artisanal pieces. Together, they form a poetic fusion of the timeless and the modern - a dialogue between past and future, between craftsmanship and dreams.

The World of Leman

The name Leman is inspired by a serene town nestled between France and Switzerland, evoking romance and calm. A visit to Leman Jewelry mirrors this sentiment with an elegant, peaceful space personally curated by Ngoc Doan herself. Every detail is a reflection of her taste, offering a sanctuary where luxury meets emotion.

Ngoc Doan continues to quietly redefine what it means to be a jewelry designer in Vietnam, an artist who lets her diamonds speak for her, crafting stories not just to wear, but to remember.
